Job Title: Project Manager – CQC Registered
Service: Learning and Leisure Service
Salary: £30,000 per annum (pro rata)
Hours: Full time, 35 per week (including occasional evenings, weekends and bank holidays)
Reporting into: Deputy Head of Service
Direct reports: Short Breaks Coordinator, Senior project workers, Support workers and senior support workers as needed.
Responsibilities but not limited to:
– Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility and ensure compliance with all regulations and policies
-Ensure the service meets all requirements of Care Quality Commission registration and working, with the support from Deputy Head of Service, to fulfil the role of registered manager.
– Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
– Coordinate and schedule client care services, ensuring that all clients receive appropriate care and support
– Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and other stakeholders to develop individualized care plans
– Ensure proper medication administration and adherence to medication protocols
– Maintain accurate records and documentation related to client care, staff management, and facility operations
– Address any issues or concerns raised by clients or their families in a timely and professional manner
– Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., social work, healthcare administration) preferred
– Proven experience in a managerial role within a healthcare or home care setting
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
– Strong leadership abilities and the ability to effectively manage a team
– Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care
- 2+ years of management experience
- 2+ years of experience working with people with learning disabilities and/or Autism; including people with high and complex needs and additional physical disabilities
- Experience of working with people from varied social and cultural backgrounds
