At Asana Lodge, situated in the small village of Yardley Gobion, you would be working closely within a successful, committed and caring multidisciplinary team and private residential clients.

Asana Lodge is a fully private Substance Misuse community treatment recovery service providing end to end treatment for residents around the globe, that have been affected by drug or alcohol use. The service provides a broad treatment program which runs parallel with a medically assisted treatment for alcohol and opiates. Service users are supported through a period of significant change, making this an extremely rewarding role.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and passionate Manager to contribute to the ongoing success of the service. This exciting role will offer the successful candidate the chance to make a lasting difference to the lives of our service users.

We support people through detoxification and in to our unparalleled and inventive rehabilitation programme. This consists of group work, 1:1 keyworker sessions, therapeutic and alternative interventions. We also link in with AA and NA, currently by Zoom.

We require an experienced registered manager to complement our team.

As Registered Manager you will lead, manage, and develop a successful, and committed, multidisciplinary team. We have nurses onsite supporting with medical interventions and therapists who deliver our therapeutic programme to improve the health and wellbeing of our clients. Our team of recovery and support workers support the client through every stage of their treatment from admission through to discharge.

You will contribute to and support with the delivery of high quality medically managed detoxification interventions. You will lead the staff team and ensure that clients receive a high-quality service in a safe working environment. You will be responsible for areas such as, but not limited to: safeguarding, management of incidents, compliance, information governance, medication control and health and safety. You will contribute to the therapeutic recovery programme and ensure service delivery is to a high standard. As registered manager you will review client risk from pre admissions through to a safe discharge. Management of risk and care planning activities for all clients is of high importance this is completed through regular client file reviews and audits, staff supervision and training. You will effectively manage the performance and professional development of your team.

Person Specification

Essential criteria*

Hold a Health & Social Care Management Qualification at QCF Level 5 or equivalent.

Experience of developing a range of therapeutic interventions and delivering group work & one-to-one interventions within a substance misuse setting.

Experience of overseeing the operations of a rehabilitation centre: including service delivery, performance management and facilities management

Sound knowledge of performance frameworks, quality standards and legal and ethical frameworks. Including CQC and other Regulatory Bodies, Current legislation, knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and Risk Management.

Communicate effectively both verbally and written at all levels, with individuals, groups, organisations and the public

Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Outlook and other required software programs. Experience with electronic client record management systems would be an advantage.

Work independently, prioritise and manage own workload on a day-to-day basis.

Engage in continuous professional development.

The post-holder is expected to be flexible with regards to working hours in order to meet the requirements of the post, and to work unsocial hours if required.

Travel to other locations to attend business meetings/conferences or other business needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week including alternative weekends. On call rota for evenings and weekends.

Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum dependant on experience
