This is a great role for a professional and experienced community/homecare/domiciliary Registered Manager who wants to put their stamp on and take the lead across an already established and highly reputable service. If you are Level 5 qualified in Adult Health & Social Care or have previously held a Registered Manager post with the CQC we would welcome your application.

The successful Registered Care Manager will be commercially minded, innovative, forward thinking, able to operate in an ever changing work environment and be comfortable with growing a service.

About the Registered Manager Role:

This is a varied and challenging role; therefore, we are looking for an experienced Registered Manager who will be flexible in supporting a new office:

  • Be accountable for the legal and ethical running of the branch including maintaining CQC compliance.
  • Promote the highest standards of care across the team and with a strong focus on person centred care.
  • Participate actively in growing the business by actively seeking out business opportunities and developing relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proactively seek business development opportunities.
  • Manage the effective recruitment, induction and training of care workers and other support staff.
  • Ensure relevant reports are forwarded to relevant bodies e.g. CQC.
  • Network in the local community and via digital media to raise awareness of the service.
  • Provide inspired leadership to the team making sure that exceptional service is delivered to the clients and workloads are managed accordingly ensuring safe staffing levels.
  • Ensure that all care is delivered against CQC regulations as well as following internal policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that all care plans are written in a person-centred way, are accurate and meet CQC regulations.

License/Certification:

  • Full UK driving license.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a Registered Manager with relevant qualifications and a valid registration with the appropriate regulatory body (e.g. CQC).

Pay depends on experience and qualifications, however, as a minimum we are looking for you to have at least 1 years experience as a Registered Manager with an NVQ 5 (or equivalent).

You will also require the following:

  • Experience in a domiciliary care setting
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
  • Demonstrated experience turning around and improving services
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and quality standards in care

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £27,500.00-£40,000.00 per year
