The role of a Registered Manager is to deliver care and support that is focussed on obtaining the best outcomes for each service user within a service which support individuals with Learning Disabilities and Autism.

The successful Registered Manager will be expected to demonstrate practical leadership in care, as well as organise and support staff to provide the best possible care and support for each individual. This will involve being personally available, as well as the supervision and mentoring of staff, organisation of work patterns, and facilitation of care focussed training, and accessing of appropriate services to support the care practices within the service.

  • To provide vision and leadership to staff, ensuring that effective systems are in place for workload allocation and management, the application of the company’s policies and procedures, including those relating to equality, supervision and appraisal and all aspects of their performance, personal development, health and welfare
  • Ensure the service users facing particular crisis and stresses are offered appropriate additional support, and to ensure that staff are supported in dealing with the most complex cases
  • To work in partnership with team members, social workers and other relevant agencies including families where appropriate to devise individual care plans

Minimum 3 years’ experience of multi-site experience at registered manager level

Supported living experience

LD/Autism experience


  • Manage daily operations
  • Oversee multiple personnel


  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Organized
  • Strong leadership skills
  • To ensure that professional practice is carried out to the highest standards and developed in line with the Company stated objectives of continual improvement in quality of service to the service users in our care and external professionals
  • To establish and manage the team communications systems ensuring that the Company procedures, policies, strategies and objectives are effectively communicated to all team members
