The opportunity is an exciting one for a Registered Supported Living Manager to join a family run business with its heart in the community of Fishponds, Staplehill, Kingswood and surrounding area, who care for people with learning disability and mental health conditions.
The company and residences support clients to identify their own ambitions, goals and interests through their development of life skills with a focus on meaningful roles within the local community.
As the Registered Manager you will be ensuring the effective running of our supportive living residences, providing management and leadership to the team of carers, with also being the holder for the CQC registration. Maintaining the highest standards of care and support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Be responsible for the safe delivery of the service in line with legislative requirements and company policy and procedures.
Working closely with the Operations Manager and Directors, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the service to support staff and service users across the homes.
The services aim to encourage service users to live as independently as possible.
Act as focal point for contact with residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in the services users wellbeing.
To ensure the delivery of safe, personalised service to each service user, focussing on person centred care and managing budgeted hours, managing sickness and driving accountability of the teams.
Salary is £40,000 per annum with the following benefits:

We are looking for a manager who is thoughtful, someone who can set and maintain standards with strong principles who will bring the homes together with a ability to develop and further train the staff to achieve each and everyone’s potential.
The position is for someone with the experience of being a Registered Manager looking for a new challenge or to make their mark in a new setting. You may be an established Deputy Manager who wants the chance to move into the Registered Manager with development within the role.
Applicants should hold their QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care and be able to hold the registration as required by CQC.
A full UK driving licence is essential, but having own vehicle is not always essential.
We are happy to consider applicants with experience in management within the health / social care as a full training programme on learning disabilities and mental health, however background in Mental Health would be an advantage.
