Shifts Pattern: Mon-Thurs: 0900-1700 Fri: 0900-1630 On call: out of hours and weekends.

The person we support / the location: 2 concierge settings, 1 ISL, and around 50 individuals.
People we Support interests varies, however safety and independence is shared thread.

As Manager, being able to cover on-call and occasional shifts in emergencies is essential

Role Overview:
As a Support Manager, you’re pivotal in our community team, setting a culture of care aligned with Coquet Trust values for exceptional support to our users.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, championing Coquet Trust values and ensuring team compliance.
  • Inspire and empower your team for impactful support and care.
  • Ensure adherence to policies, maintaining high-quality support.
  • Manage team recruitment, training, and development.

· Conduct regular staff meetings and appraisals. · Safeguard user rights and ensure their involvement in plans.

  • Handle complaints, uphold confidentiality, and comply with GDPR.
  • Monitor the locations quality, report incidents, and implement improvements.
  • Coordinate with professionals and agencies for enhanced support.

· Attend training and workshops as needed. · Build and maintain relationship with families, people we support and their circle of support

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Person Specification – Support Manager

Essential:

  • NVQ in Care Level 4 or equivalent.
  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in staff management and mentoring.
  • Experience in working with learning disabilities.
  • Strong communication and delegation skills.
  • Familiarity with CQC standards, Mental Capacity Act, GDPR.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance.
  • Full clean UK driving license.

Desirable:

  • Relevant management qualification
