Our friendly team at Healthworks all have previous experience working in the care sector, and have witnessed first-hand the difficulty of finding suitable managers for the specific needs of different services

Nick Connell
Business Development Manager

Nick brings a wealth of recruitment experience to Healthworks, notably 6 years as a senior consultant for a market-leading healthcare recruitment firm in Leeds. With project management and major brand retail experience, Nick has also entertained around the world on cruise ships for many years where he met his dancer wife. Now based in Yorkshire, he follows their children's exploits in a range of activities including dance, football, martial arts and skiing.

Millie Powell
Marketing Manager

Millie studied at Newcastle University where she obtained a business degree with a focus on marketing.

Millie began her career in the coffee industry but moved into the care sector and gained marketing knowledge as well as recruitment experience in the care industry. At Healthworks, Millie is in charge of marketing and attracting new clients.



Stephen Forster
Recruitment Consultant

Stephen began his career as a care worker and now specialises in recruitment consultancy that focuses on time to hire, job advertising, phone interviews, retention and the entire recruitment journey and candidate experience.

Stephen lived in Australia for five years and enjoys helping his wife run her aesthetics business in his spare time.



Max Girelli, Business Development & Marketing Executive

Max studied at Cardiff University where he obtained a BSc Degree in Business Management with a focus on Marketing. Having worked a range of jobs, Max's focus is on Marketing and Creative thought.

At Healthworks, Max is currently a Marketing and Business Development Executive. In his spare time, he enjoys entrepreneurial endeavors, weightlifting, and films.




Sarah Steyn
Office Executive

Sarah has been working as an Executive Assistant within the care sector for four and a half years.

Sarah provides support and assistance to the whole HealthWorks team and always brings essentials to the HealthWorks office (eg snacks)!.


Sarah has two children and enjoys reading when having a spare moment.



Andy
CQC Compliance

Up until 2010, Andy was CQC’s Registration Manager for the Southeast of England. Before this, he worked in Regulatory roles for the Commission for Social Care Inspection, The National Care Standards Commission and East Sussex County Council.

His early career was in residential social care, working with children and adults, which included managing a care home. Andy holds a degree, BSc Hons in the Regulation of Health and Social Care (2:1)
